Fine motor

Have a go at this letter 'b' formation sheet. Remember- start at the top of the long neck! And don't take your pencil off until you have finished!

If you want to, you could have a go at making the letter 'b' on the playdoh mat. If you haven't got any playdoh, you can make some fairly easily- there are lots of recipes online. 

TIP: If you place the playdoh mat in a plastic wallet, you can use it again. 

Phonics

Today we are learning the 'sh' digraph. Watch the video (and Geraldine the Giraffe if you like!) then have a go at 'say it, make it, write it' with the 'sh' pictures provided. Can you think of any other 'sh' words that you could make and write? Can you challenge yourself to write captions/sentences with 'sh' words in?

Play some games on Phonics play- you can use the username: jan21 and the password: home to access some games that would normally be for members only. 

Maths

Today we will be looking at different ways of making 5, using a part-whole model. On the Teams call I will show you a part-whole model and how to use it. Then you can have a go at finding all the ways possible to make 5. You could continue this to make 6, 7, 8 or 9. 

If you really want to challenge yourself, you could find the missing numbers on the challenge sheet!

Last week we looked at the story of Jesus choosing some of his disciples and discussed what kind of people Jesus would have chosen to be his friends. 

Look at the story of Jesus choosing his disciples again. Draw a picture of what happened in the story. Tell your family the story and ask them to write it down. 

Have a listen to the song 'Follow me'. When Jesus calls us, we should follow.
