In light of the tragic events that happened at Grenfell Tower the Diocese of Westminster is encouraging schools to raise money for the people affected. The house captains organised a charity day to raise money to support the Catholic Children’s Society’s Crisis Fund.
The day was a great success. the children organised a variety of games including Beat the Goalie, Guess the Name of the Teddy, Guess How Many Sweets in a Jar and Speed Jump. There were also biscuits to decorate, basketball hoops to score and a map to cover in coppers. The children sold raffle tickets for House Hampers. There was also a cake competition where key stage one and two children baked cakes which were judged on appearance, texture and taste. All in all the day was a great success and the total raised will be posted on the website later- when it has all been counted.
