Welcome

A very warm welcome from Mrs Michelle Fusi, Headteacher and all the staff of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School.

We are delighted that your child will be joining our school’s Reception team in September and we are looking forward to meeting you all.
Starting school should be a happy and exciting time for both your child and for you. We know that you will have lots of questions to ask us and  the information here will begin to answer at least some of those questions.
We will do our very best to make you and your child feel secure, valued and ready for the start of the new school year. Our aim is to provide your child with the very best education possible and we hope that you will work with us, in partnership, to achieve this aim.

Important Dates for Transition

Thursday 13th July- Transition Day in school. Reception children to be dropped at school at 9:30am and picked up again at 11:30am.

Week One:

Your child is invited to two stay and play sessions. Half the class will attend at a time. This will be organised by houses.

Tuesday 5th September

Morning Session 9:00 to 11:30  Red and Blue house

Afternoon Session 12:45 – 3:00  Yellow and Green house

Wednesday 6th September.

Morning Session 9:00 to 11:30  Yellow and Green house

Afternoon Session 12:45 – 3:00  Red and Blue house

Thursday 7th September

All children in together 9:00-12:30

Friday 8th September

All children in together 9:00-12:30

Week Two:

Monday the 11th to Friday the 15th September

All children will be in school every day from 9:00 to 12:30 and will stay for lunch. Children should be dropped off and collected from the Reception side gate on the field. There will be signs to show you the way.

Week Three:

Monday the 18th to the 22nd of September.

Normal school day. Children stay all day.

8:45am to 3:15pm.
