This week we are learning some new trigraphs. Remember, a trigraph is when three letters make one sound. 

Today's trigraph is 'ear', like in 'hear'. Can you think of any other 'ear' words?

Watch the video and read some 'ear' words. Can you write any 'ear' words?

Today you can play 'spin the bottle' with words or sounds. Set the words or sounds out in a circle, with a bottle lying down in the middle. Spin the bottle and read the word/sound it points at.

You have made it to the moon in your rocket! What can you see? What is it like?

Make a postcard to send to your family/friends from the moon. Draw a picture and write a message.

Maths

This week we are continuing with our 'measurement' learning, but this time we are learning about 'Capacity'. This means looking at how much a container can hold. How much water do you need to fill a bottle?

Join the call to go through the powerpoint, then fill 5 containers with different amounts of water and label them- full, nearly full, half full, nearly empty and empty.
