Football team 2023-24

District football Spring 2024 

The football team went to the district tournament today at Wodson park. The boys played amazing, they shone throughout the tournament scoring 22 goals across 6 matches. Luc was outstanding as usual in goal and was great when he came out on the pitch, Eoin and Jesse were an unstoppable team upfront and Sebastian was a true hero in defence. Jan fianlly scored a header too! Jesse and Eoin got a special mention by the organisers for their incredible talent. A huge thank you to Mr Wordsworth for supporting the team throughout the morning. 

 

Well done boys! 

Our football team are now through to the Hope cup Semi-final! The next match is on Tuesday 12th March at home. So far the boys have only conceded 2 goals and scored a massive 36. They have been brilliant. See you on the 12th!

Congratulations to our Sacred Heart Football Team who WON the district Football Tournament.

 

The team are so proud to have also won the Fair Play Team of the Tournament.
