1:1 Learning Support:  Part-Time / Full-Time

Term time Only, Monday – Friday 30 hours per week

(We are open to both part time and full time applicants)

Pay: H2 - H3 plus outer fringe (dependent on experience)

Start: 4th March 2024 (or as close to)

We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic individual to work as a 1:1 teaching assistant supporting a child with Autism, plus supporting small groups of pupils within Key Stage 1, to start in March 2024.

There will be opportunities for personal and professional development within the educational setting.

This post can be part time or full time, depending on the candidate. This term-time position is offered on a fixed term contract basis.

The learning support assistant will begin supporting a child with special educational needs in the classroom, on the playground, and carry out intervention work outside the classroom for which training will be provided.

  • maintains a consistent, caring approach to working with children;
  • works well alone and as part of a team;
  • dedicates themselves to continuing professional development

Salary is H2 - H3 dependent on experience.
