Egg update

THE EGG HAS HATCHED!!!!!

I heard the egg making some strange noises last night, so I covered the egg in its nest with a blanket and left it somewhere warm. This is what I found when I got to school this morning...

Fine motor

Have a go at this letter 'e' formation sheet. Remember- start at the top of the shape. And don't take your pencil off until you have finished!

If you want to, you could have a go at making the letter 'e' on the playdoh mat. If you haven't got any playdoh, you can make some fairly easily- there are lots of recipes online. 

TIP: If you place the playdoh mat in a plastic wallet, you can use it again.

Phonics

Today is a chance for you to practise the sounds we have learnt this week, as well as some tricky words! We will learn 2 new tricky words, too- 'he' and 'she'. 

Play some games on phonics play- I have linked it below. There is a game called 'Tricky word trucks' which will test you on your tricky words knowledge! 

I have also left a phonics board game for you to play- or you could have some fun and make your own!

Maths

Maths today is another chance for you to practice what we have been learning this week- all about addition! I have linked some games that you can play. Or again- have some fun and make your own! I'd love to see pictures if you make your own game!!
