I am delighted to share with you the report of our Section 5 Ofsted Inspection which took place on the 1st and 2nd October. I am thrilled that the report starts with the sentence,
‘This is a happy school, where everyone receives a warm welcome,’
Ofsted no longer gives an overall grade; the Inspectors graded the elements of our school as follows:
Behaviour and Attitudes: Outstanding
Personal Development: Outstanding
Quality of Education: Good
Leadership and Management: Good
Early Years: Good
We are extremely proud of this positive outcome which is a testament to the care and commitment of our staff, the support of parents, and of course a celebration of the wonderful children.
‘Pupils know the high expectations that staff have of their work and their behaviour. Pupils strive to meet these high standards. Pupils’ positive attitudes to their learning are palpable.’
I am especially pleased that the categories identified as outstanding are areas which truly reflect our Catholic ethos of the school - with Christ at the centre of all we do.
Finally, and most importantly, I would like to thank all our children for being exceptional ambassadors for our school; the staff for their hard work and dedication; the parents who provided feedback online and the Governors and members of the Trust for their continued guidance and support.
