Mini Vinnies

As part of our Year of Mercy celebrations, we have started a Mini Vinnies group in school. The group is voluntary and is open to children in Years 4, 5 and 6.

This is an exciting venture for our children and school. We will be part of a National and International society that helps those less fortunate than ourselves.

'Mini Vinnies' are children aged between 7 to 11 (or younger) who, with the permission of their parents and the support of their Schools, are encouraged to embark on their first steps as possible 'Vincentians for life'.

As Mini Vinnies, the youngsters have their own 'treasured' Prayer, Pledge and Badge, a dedicated website and a range of bright and colourful documents which guide them in their formative steps - helping and enabling them to become in every sense, young Vincentians - or 'Mini Vinnies'.

Please see for more details.

Meet our Mini Vinnies

Meet our Mini Vinnies 1

Tuesday 7th March 2017 - Today we were raising awareness of Fairtrade. We did an assembly explaining what Fairtrade is and made cakes using Fairtrade ingredients and sold them to the children in school.

18.1.17 - Mini Vinnies led the Gospel assembly for the school today, it was about being a follower of Jesus.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for calling us to follow you.  Please help us to be your faithful followers so that our world may become a better place.  Help us to follow on your path.

Evie, Year 4

Some of our Mini Vinnies took the harvest donations to the Foodbank in Harlow. They were very grateful, thank you.

On 19th October Mr O'Connell, from St Mary's school, came and led a retreat for the Mini Vinnies based on Finding Nemo.
