Aoife

Aoife is a delightful child to have in the class. She always shows compassion for her classmates and demonstrates exactly what it is to be a good friend. She is able to quietly support her peers when they are upset by just sitting with them until her calming presence makes them feel better. Aoife knows what it is to be a peacemaker and understands the importance of forgiveness of others as well as reconciliation for herself

Olivia C

 

For her amazing support of those in need, both at school and out. She made 82 key rings and raised £246 for FOSH, helping to make a difference. Olivia also shows a lot of care for others in class and on the playground, always ready to lend a hand or make sure someone feels included. Her kindness and willingness to help out are what really make her stand out.

Sophia

Sophia has been chosen for demonstrating the Franciscan values of creating a caring community. She is a model of respect and kindness to all. Without making a fuss, Sophia quietly gets on helping everyone she sees. If someone needs help or is lacking a friend, Sophia always notices and reaches out to help. She is the sort of girl some may miss because she does not try to get attention however, her kind and caring nature makes our school a nicer place to be. She truly lives the Franciscan values each and every day.

Dotty

 

This award is presented to Dotty for showing extraordinary kindness, care, and love toward others, in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. Through acts of compassion, Dotty has consistently shown the importance of helping others and being a good friend. She always plays well with others at playtime and makes an extra effort to include everyone into her play. Dotty will comfort her friends when they are in need and is always sensitive to their feelings, offering quiet comfort. She will use words of encouragement and positivity when speaking to her peers showing them a big smile and constantly showing us all she has such a gentle heart. Dotty shows a deep care for our environment and all of God’s creations.

AUTUMN 1

Olivia Year 5

For being a mediator in arguments and trying not to get involved herself. Never holds a grudge against anyone. Olivia is an excellent team-player, especially in sports, and she is a really supportive learning partner in class.

 Mia Year 2

Mia embodies the values of kindness and compassion. She is always willing to help others, whether it's by lending a hand to a friend in need or offering support to someone who is struggling. Her selflessness and care for others make her a loving and dependable friend. Mia also shows a deep respect for God's creations, just like St. Francis of Assisi. Her actions reflect the Franciscan spirit of living in harmony with God's world and spreading kindness to all.

 JOEL - Year 6

 

Joel has consistently demonstrated a remarkable sense of compassion and kindness towards others, always going above and beyond to support those in need. Whether it’s offering a helping hand to a classmate struggling with their studies or providing emotional support to a friend facing difficult times, Joel’s empathy shines through in every action. He is the first to notice when someone is feeling down and takes the time to make them feel heard and cared for. His genuine concern for others has earned him the admiration of both peers and teachers alike, as he creates a positive, inclusive environment wherever he goes. Joel's selflessness and willingness to help others make him a role model for kindness in the school community

Mabel - Reception

 

We would like to nominate Mabel for her exceptional kindness and caring nature. Mabel is always there when needed, offering support, and spreading warmth to those around her. She offers words of encouragement to her peers and goes out of her way to make someone feel happy. Mabel has consistently demonstrated that kindness is at the heart of everything she does.

What stands out most about Mabel is her ability to see when someone needs help.  She has a unique gift for understanding others' struggles and will always offer a helping hand. 

Mabel's caring nature is not limited to one or two friends but extends to everyone in her class. In every aspect of their friendship, Mabel exemplifies what it means to be compassionate, considerate, and selfless. Her genuine kindness and caring heart have made her an irreplaceable friend.
