Culture Week

Thank you to everyone that brought in their culture box this week. They are fantastic, and the children really enjoyed looking at them. We also got the chance to visit all the other classrooms, and look at their boxes to.  We looked at all the different cultures in our class and found the countries on a map.  We also took an Indian dance class. The children were amazing! We even carried on the dancing back in class. On Thursday the children met with some very kind parents, who came in to talk about their culture. We also celebrated black history month by learning about Chris Ofilli. The children were very surprised to learn that he used elephant poo in paintings. We then went outside to create our own art work using natural materials. What a busy week we had!
