29.9.26 - In RE, Year 2 explored the meaning of ‘stewardship’ and how we can care for God’s wonderful creation. The children talked about the different parts of our natural world and why it is important to look after them. They then used pictures of the world and nature to create colourful rainbow collages, with each colour representing a different part of creation, such as blue for the seas and green for fields and plants.
21.9.26 - Year 2 had a great morning at Sele school trying out orienteering, athletics, tennis and football.
9.9.26 - Year 2 have been using Dienes to partition two-digit numbers into tens and ones. They used part-whole models and wrote matching number sentences to show their understanding.
